Survey Instrument Operator

We are currently seeking a survey instrument operator; previous survey experience is preferred but not required. Primary responsibilities may include the following: operate survey instruments and equipment; keep clear written field notes and perform survey computations as needed; mark survey stakes and field points; use metal detector and equipment to recover monuments; clear brush and trees from survey area as may be required. Work environment is 100% outdoors and worksite locations vary throughout the tristate region. Additional job requirements include good communication and organizational skills; ability to carry up to 50 pounds of equipment and supplies throughout the workday; reliable transportation to the office; and a focus on jobsite safety. Successful candidates must possess a clean driving record and be able to pass security clearances through the TSA and FBI.

The base salary range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00 per hour.  Within this range, individual pay will be determined based on factors including applicant’s relevant education, skills, certifications, licensing and professional experience.
